Gulf Shores - Orange Beach Family & Child Photographer - Capturing Childhood Magic
One of the things I absolutely love about photographing kids at the beach is that it's a place where they can let loose and be themselves. They can run, jump, and play without any restrictions... and that's exactly what I encourage them to do! I want them to forget about the camera and just be kids. I find that when kids are playing and having fun, their true personalities shine through, and that's what I aim to capture.
Building sandcastles, playing and splashing in the water, twirling and dancing with a light fabric or sheet, exploring areas around the sand dunes & trails... there are endless moments to photograph.
Of course, one of the best things about photographing kids at the beach is their imaginations. They can turn anything into a game or adventure. I've photographed kids pretending to be pirates, mermaids, and even astronauts. I love getting down on their level and capturing their imaginations at work.
When working with children, it is my goal is to capture the beauty and wonder of childhood. And there's no better place to do that than at the beach.
